Understand and manage your team fundraising goal

Your team fundraising goal is the amount your team is working toward raising together. You can view your team goal and your team’s progress on the My Team tab.

PROGRAM NOTEVisionaries of the Year and Student Visionaries of the Year do not support team fundraising goals or team fundraising pages. If you are participating in either campaign, you will not see a team goal or team‑related goal settings. This is expected behavior for these programs.

What goal do I see on “My Team”?

The goal shown on My Team represents your team’s overall fundraising target and includes a progress indicator showing how much your team has raised so far.

  • This is different from your personal fundraising goal, which appears on My Donations
  • Team goals reflect your team’s combined fundraising effort

How is a team fundraising goal set?

Each event has a default team fundraising goal based on prior fundraising data and, when available, the anticipated size of the team.

  • This default goal is temporarily assigned when the team is created
  • A Team Captain can update the team goal at any time if the campaign allows it

Can the team goal be changed?

If you are a Team Captain, you can update your team’s goal.

  1. Go to My Team.
  2. Select Edit Goal.
  3. Enter the new goal amount.
  4. Select Save.

The team goal:

  • Cannot be lower than the amount your team has already raised
  • Must follow any campaign‑specific rules for team goals

Show the team goal on your team fundraising page

If your campaign supports team fundraising pages, you can choose whether the team goal appears publicly on the page.

Before you begin

Make sure your team goal is set.

  • Go to My Team.
  • Review the goal displayed near the top of the page.
  • Select Edit Goal if you need to set or update it.

Display the goal on the team page

  1. Select Fundraiser Pages → Team Page.
  2. In Page Options, find the Fundraising Goal setting.
  3. Choose Show to display the team goal on the page.

Your team goal will now appear on your public team fundraising page.
