Your fundraising goal is the amount of money you are working toward raising. Your progress toward this goal appears on the My Donations page and, depending on your event, may also appear on your public fundraising page.
NOTE: Not all campaigns support personal fundraising goals.
What goal do I see on “My Donations”?
The goal shown on My Donations is your personal fundraising goal and includes a progress indicator showing how much you’ve raised so far.
- If you are part of a team, your team goal appears separately on the My Team tab.
- Your personal goal applies only to your individual fundraising efforts.
How is my fundraising goal set?
Each event has a default fundraising goal based on historical fundraising data. This default goal is temporarily assigned to you until you set your own.
For Team In Training, your default goal is equal to your fundraising commitment (minimum) set during registration.
NOTE: Not all campaigns support personal fundraising goals.
Can I change my fundraising goal?
If your campaign supports personal goals, you can update your goal at any time.
- Select Edit Goal.
- Enter your new goal amount.
- Select Save.
Your goal:
- Cannot be lower than the amount you’ve already raised
- For Team In Training, cannot be lower than your fundraising commitment
- Not all campaigns allow participants to set personal goals
Is my goal the same as my fundraising minimum or commitment?
Not always.
- Fundraising minimum / commitment applies only to Team In Training
- Your goal can be the same as your commitment, or higher
- Your goal cannot be lower than your commitment
Your commitment amount is set during registration, while your goal reflects what you personally aim to raise.
Change the goal that appears on your fundraising page
If your campaign allows it, you can choose whether your page displays your personal goal or your fundraising minimum.
- Select Fundraiser Pages → My Page.
- Choose Page Options.
- Find the Fundraising Goal display setting.
- Select the display option you prefer.
- Select Save Changes.
Campaign‑specific notes
- Team In Training events offer three display options.
- Other campaigns may offer only two options.
- For Visionaries of the Year, this setting is locked to “Hide” and cannot be changed.
