Note: Check deposits cannot be submitted from a desktop or laptop.
Before you start
- Go to fundraise.lls.org on your mobile browser
- Log in using the same username and password you use for your fundraising page
Once logged in, you should see your current event displayed and an option to Accept Donation.
How to submit a check donation
- Open fundraise.lls.org on your mobile browser
- Select Accept Donation.
- Choose Check and enter the donor’s name and donation amount.
- (Optional) Enter the donor’s email address if they would like to receive a receipt by email.
Endorse the check
On the back of the check, write:
For Deposit Only
Take photos of the check
You’ll be prompted to take photos of both the front and back of the check. To avoid errors, make sure:
- The check is oriented left‑to‑right (landscape) in both photos
- All four edges of the check are visible in each image
- The photos are clear and legible, not blurry or fuzzy

Submit for processing
Once all information is entered and both images are uploaded:
- Submit the donation for processing
The check will be sent to the bank for electronic deposit
How long will it take for the check to show on my fundraising page?
- The amount will show right away
- The donor name will take 3-4 days to appear on the fundraising page
What to do with the physical check
- Keep the check for at least 30 days in case it needs to be resubmitted (for example, if the bank determines an image is not legible).
- After 30 days, the check may be safely destroyed.
- Do not send the check to your local chapter — it has already been deposited electronically through the mobile app.
