Half Cost Covered hotel explanation
Hotel coverage depends on the fundraising option selected during your commitment.
General guidance:
- If you selected a half-cost hotel option, you may choose to share a room with an eligible teammate or cover the remaining cost to share with guests
- If you selected a full-coverage option, your room is included, excluding any applicable occupancy fees
For confirmation of your specific selection, refer to your commitment confirmation or email TNTHike@bloodcancerunited.org.
Hotel check-in process
Rooms booked by Team In Training are reserved under each teammate’s name.
To check in:
- Provide your name and a photo ID
- Present a personal credit card for incidental charges (such as parking or room service)
Team Rally and Dinner
Team Rally and Dinner overview
The Team Rally and Dinner is a time to come together with teammates, coaches, and staff and celebrate the impact you’ve made in support of the Blood Cancer United mission.
Each fundraising teammate receives one complimentary ticket.

Transportation on hike day
Transportation requirements
To support a smooth and coordinated hike day experience, all teammates must use group transportation provided for Hike Yosemite.
- Shuttles depart from Tenaya Lodge
- Transportation to and from the park is provided
- To help ensure a safe and consistent experience for everyone, teammates may not drive themselves to the trailhead
- Shuttle access is limited to registered fundraising teammates
