Be part of the magic! Join The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Team In Training program for the 2026 Walt Disney World® Marathon Weekend. 

Located at a place known for making dreams come true, the Walt Disney World® Marathon Weekend delivers a unique running experience for all ages. Tour through four Disney theme parks with a big finish at EPCOT® for anywhere from 3.1 to 48.6 miles. There’s a race option for everyone!

The Team In Training Experience:

Your impact will go beyond the finish line when you join our community of teammates from across the country as you train for this unforgettable event. The TEAM community provides support every step of the way. 

Upon registration, teammates are connected to a professional fundraising staff partner and provided with fundraising resources to help tell your story about why you’re raising lifesaving funds for LLS. 

Teammates have access to our Training Resource Hub, exclusive training plans delivered through TrainingPeaks, educational webinars, and one-on-one support with a professional TNT Coach.  

Your completed fundraising commitment provides you with access to a guaranteed race entry and a TNT event day jersey. Throughout event weekend, you will have the opportunity to participate in various team activities and celebrations, with a team of TNT staff and coaches onsite to assist you every step of the way… all while supporting lifesaving research for cancer patients.  

                                                                                                                                                        

Fundraising Commitment Levels

The funds raised by Team In Training teammates help The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society explore new paths to cures, supporting approximately 300 active, cutting-edge research projects in the most promising new areas of immunotherapy and personalized medicine in cancer research.

 

All Team In Training fundraisers for this event receive professional fundraising support, a race entry, a team jersey to wear on race day, connection to an experienced coach and training support, and the opportunity to earn various recognition and incentives through fundraising. Below are the fundraising options to choose from based on which race distance and hotel package you're interested in.


Single Race Entry (Walt Disney World® 5K , 10K, Half Marathon, or Marathon)

  • $1,600 - Base fundraising level; no hotel stay included 
  • $3,000 - Half Cost of Hotel Room Covered for 2 Nights* 
  • $3,500 - Half Cost of Hotel Room Covered for 3 Nights* 
  • $4,000 - Half Cost of Hotel Room Covered for 4 Nights* 
  • $4,000 - Hotel Room for 2 Nights 
  • $5,000 - Hotel Room for 3 Nights 
  • $6,000 - Hotel Room for 4 Nights 

Goofy Challenge (Half Marathon & Marathon)

  • $4,500 - Half Cost of Hotel Room Covered for 4 Nights* 
  • $6,500 - Hotel Room for 4 Nights 

Dopey Challenge (5K, 10K, Half Marathon, & Marathon)

  • $5,500 - Half Cost of Hotel Room Covered for 5 Nights*
  • $8,000 - Hotel Room for 5 Nights
     

Please note:

  • This event has historically sold out quickly. You will be contacted by our team should there be an issue with your registration and preferred sport/course. 
  • To receive entry to Goofy Challenge or to the Dopey Challenge through TNT, you must select a fundraising level that includes a hotel stay. 
  • A single person may only register once for this event. To participate in multiple distances you must register for Goofy Challenge or Dopey Challenge (pending availability). Otherwise, participation is limited to a single distance/bib.

HOTEL ROOM BLOCK

  • Team In Training teammates fundraising for hotel will be at Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside. 
  • All hotel nights covered within fundraising packages must be within Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday of race week. 
  • *Teammates may pair themselves with another team member fundraising for half hotel cost OR purchase the other half of their hotel room.
     

YOUR FUNDRAISING COMMITMENT

Team In Training teammates commit to fundraising a chosen minimum amount in full by 11:59 p.m. EST on the first business day after their event. Funds raised for the event are non-transferrable. If the fundraising commitment is not met by the deadline, teammates are responsible for donating any remaining balance.

Thursday, January 8th

  • 5K Race Morning Meet-up & Mission Moment

      If you're staying at the Team Hotel and want some company heading to the race start, meet to head to the busses together. If you know how to get there, feel free to hop on the buses and just meet us in the EPCOT parking lot!
    • Meet Up near Race Start

      Gather in the EPCOT parking lot for a mission moment and a TEAM photo before heading into your start group. 
  • TNT Meet & Greet| Time TBA
    Location TBA
    Join for a no-host gathering to mingle with fellow teammates, coaches, and staff and celebrate the start to an incredible weekend! We will also have a few fun activities that will be fun for everyone! Teammates are welcome to bring their family and friends who are staying with them during event weekend. 


Friday, January 9th

  • Team Rally & Dinner | Time TBA  
    Disney's Contemporary Resort

    The Team Rally & Dinner is a time for your teammates, coaches, honorees, and staff to come together and celebrate all that you have accomplished this season. All fundraising participants receive one complimentary ticket. 
    • Attire: Casual. Wear your purple!
    • Friends & Family Welcome! When completing event weekend reservations, you can choose to purchase additional tickets. You will be required to pay for these tickets when submitting your event weekend reservations.

    • Getting There:
    • We will be providing a shuttle leaving from and returning to Port Orleans Riverside (the team hotel). All teammates and guests may board these complimentary shuttles. 
    • For those not staying at Port Orleans Riverside, your options are: 1) park for free at Port Orleans Riverside and utilize the shuttles, 2) being dropped off by rideshares like Uber or Lyft (at your own expense), 3) utilizing Disney’s transportation (such as the monorail or busses), or 4) there MAY be an option to drive in and park at Disney’s Contemporary Resort, but that will depend on construction status at the time and will be communicated as we get closer to event weekend. 


Saturday, January 10th

  • Half Marathon Race Morning Meet-up & Mission Moment
    Calling all Half Marathon, Goofy, and Dopey teammates! Start your morning off with the TEAM before heading to your start group.

    • Qualify by raising $10,000 individually or by being the captain of a $100,000 fundraising team.  
    • The deadline to qualify is Thursday, January 1st, and invitees will be notified via email.  


Sunday, January 11

TRANSPORTATION:

  • The Orlando International Airport (MCO) is about 20 miles from the team hotel.
    • Transportation between the airport and hotel is not provided by TNT and is the responsibility of the participant.  We recommend using the Mears Connect Shuttle for travel between the airport and team hotel.
    • runDisney provides transportation to and from the team hotel to EPCOT each race day. Shuttle schedules will be posted on the runDisney website when available!  
  • LLS TRAVEL DISCOUNTS
    If you are flying to your event, the vendor listed below provides a LLS discount. Please note, they may not have services in every area. 

  • Car Rentals - Enterprise Rent-A-Car is the preferred rental car supplier for LLS employees and Team In Training team members. Reservations can be made by going to the Enterprise website and entering the LLS Enterprise account number XZ24113 in the box that says "Promotion Code or Account Number".

*Teammates with a fundraising level for "Half Room Rate", if you'd like to reserve a room by yourself, you may pay for the other half of your room when you complete your commitment and reservations ($131/night).

  • Max occupancy per room is 4 guests.
  • King rooms are very limited and not guaranteed

ARRIVAL & DEPARTURE  

Depending on the number of nights you selected in your fundraising commit level: 

  • Arrivals can be on Wednesday, Jan 7 thru Saturday, Jan 10 
  • Departures can be on Friday, Jan 9 thru Monday, Jan 12 

Any nights outside of these must be booked separately and paid for personally. *See below.

EXTENDING YOUR STAY/FRIENDS & FAMILY ROOMS
We will have a very limited number of rooms for teammates to secure shoulder nights to their TNT hotel reservations and/or book additional rooms for friends or family at our group rate. These rooms are first come, first serve. If you are planning to extend your stay or would like to add an additional room for friends or family, you will be able to make those reservations through a special link that will be emailed to all committed teammates once it is available (which may not be until late summer/early fall).

CHECK-IN
All rooms are reserved under each teammate's name. To check into your room you will just need to provide your name and photo ID to the front desk. The hotel will also require your credit card to keep on file for incidental charges (room service, parking, etc.)
