When is the Light the Night Central Massachusetts Event?
The event will take place on Sunday October 6 2024. Here's the schedule:
• 4:00pm: Event festivities begin
• 6pm: Opening Ceremony for the Walk
• 6:15pm: Post-Walk festivities begin
• 8pm: Event concludes
Where is the Light the Night Central Massachusetts Event held?
The event will be held at Polar Park at 100 Madison St, Worcester, MA 01608.

How long is the walk?
The Light the Night Central Massachusetts walk is approximately 1 Mile in total length. This distance is designed to be accessible for participants of various ages and fitness levels.

Will food be provided at the event?
Food for purchase will be available on site. Please bring all forms of payment.
What happens if it rains on the event day?

Yes! Light The Night is a multi-generational event! The Kids Zone will feature many different games and activities for children.
Do children need to register?
Children 12 years old and younger do not need to register but must be accompanied by an adult to receive a lantern at the event.
How can I get a lantern?
All registered participants receive a lantern to be picked up at the Lantern Tent at the walk.
How do I get a T-shirt?
All registered participants who raise $100+ on their individual fundraising page will receive a t-shirt that can be picked up at the walk.
What incentives are there for fundraising?
- $1,000 - Bright Lights will receive a long-sleeve shirt and get exclusive access to the VIP Tent at the event
- $100 - Become a Champion for a Cure to receive the official t-shirt
